Last year around this time, arable farmer Boudeling decided to stop further extreme soil compaction by purchasing Zuidberg Tracks for their John Deere 6215R. They use this tractor for much of the work during potato season.
Agrifoto shot photos and video multiple times during last year. The result is an entertaining compilation video that follows Zuidberg Tracks year round. A must-watch for every tractor fan. View the video below.
Boudeling use the tracks mostly for plowing, sowing and fertilizing the soil. When he wants to use his tyres, he easily demounts de tracks and reattaches the wheels within four hours.
Adriaan Boudeling: “This way, you can rebuild the best tractor for the field into a great tractor for the roads. I’d be crazy not to make the most use of both.”
Track systems are applicable in many different situations. recently, we interviewed Gerjan Voshart, a Dutch agricultural contractor who purchased tracks on a Agrifac beet harvester. Watch the interview here. You can also watch Mathieu Verrue, a Belgian leek farmer. He bought a Fendt 722 Vario on Zuidberg Tracks for harvesting leek.
