Recently a Studer S33, universal CNC grinder has been put into operation. This grinder is used to regrind bearing fittings of gearwheels and shafts, often after they have been hardened.
The machine has two grinding stones that can be profiled differently, by which several types of grinding operations can be carried out in one fixture. An inner grinding device is also present for regrinding internal fittings.
With this machine, small and larger series can be produced alternately, increasing the efficiency of production. This means Zuidberg can respond even more to customer-specific requirements and wishes.
